PURPOSE OF THE POST:

The purpose of this role is to drive business growth within the organization. They will develop a network of contacts to attract new student,Partners and clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income. He will also drive student recruitment in key internationalmarkets by planning and delivering in-country activities and development of value led global partnerships resulting in achieving the company's ambitious student number and income targets.

The role holder may have a single role in the organisation or lead a team of staff. His work will often reach across all areas of the business.

Led by Chief executive officer, the role holder will focus on various functions includingproviding significant market intelligence and analysis as well as becoming an expert in the designated region that informs the marketing and student recruitment plans. Therefore, ensuring the most appropriate activity is undertaken in the most effective channels to yield positive results.

The role holder will also organise and undertake effective in-person recruitment activity building relationships with pre applicants, applicants, agents and potential & existing partners. This will include international travel, coordinating events, management of international agent representatives, establishing partnership contracts and continued participation in UK and international based international recruitment and training networks.

The purpose of this role is to manage the implementation and delivery of local and International student recruitment activities, and to ensure that these activities are aligned with Securematics Training Ltd overarching marketing, recruitment and conversion strategies.

Key relationships include the Admissions,Recruitment, Marketing and CRM teams as well as Academic staff to ensure collaborative and robust annual plans are in place to meet the Student Recruitment and delivery targets.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Through the provision of market intelligence devise the annual marketing and recruitment plans for specified markets and evaluate all activity to inform future work.
  • Deliver the student recruitment activity in specified markets to grow applications and enhance conversion for all Securematics Training courses, including those delivered in partnership with otherorganisations.
  • Provide expertise to colleagues across Securematics Training on subjects such as educationalsystems, market and demographic trends, and qualifications.
  • Provide a key point of contact between colleagues in Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions to contribute to a joined-up approach to the company activity.
  • Manage and maintain the Company relationships with potential and existing partner institutionsthrough the development of strong relationships with key stakeholders in these organisations.
  • Academic community in identifying and delivering productive MOUs, and articulation agreements. Coordinate Centre activity with strategic partners and student suppliers.
  • Deliver high quality servicewith the aim of high satisfaction rates and continued retention of Securematics Training services.
  • Manage Agent network including appointing, training and monitoring recruitment process. Ensuringbuilding positive working relationships to enhance applicant experience.
  • Maintain close working relationships with strategic UK based partners and organisations to ensure continued cooperation and maximum benefit for the Centre.
  • To organise and undertake effective recruitment visits, including to pre-applicant and applicant engagement events, schools, universities, exhibitions, relevant organisations and including overseas travel.
  • Maintain contact with key alumni.
  • To support collaborative arrangements including arrangements for the smooth transition of students f to the University,
  • liaising with academics responsible for collaborative programmes and maintain the collaborations database.
  • Undertake applicant conversion events including individual applicant/offer-holder meetings.
  • Develop and Work closely with the Marketing team to inform campaigns, develop relevant contentand user journeys.
  • To arrange inductions and a ‘meet and greet’ service for new students and staff from within the region.
  • Manage designated budgets,ensuring ROI and efficiencies are illustrated in delivering the student recruitment plans.
  • Support the course enquiries and conversion teams in producing up to date and accurate knowledge articles and other relevant published information.
  • To support in the delivery of Marketing and Recruitment events and activities, such as Open Days, Insight Days, Confirmation and Clearing and Enrolment.

At certain times of the year, it may be necessary to work some overtime and annual leave cannot be sanctioned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • A degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience of Student recruitment, preferably including responsibility for a range ofmarkets.
  • Experience of planning and developing strategies and implementing plans to enhancethe recruitment and conversion of local and international students.
  • Experience of budget planning and forecasting and managing actual expenditure withina strict framework.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with international agent representatives,managing relationships and their performance.
  • Comfortable working with statistics, undertake market research and/or analyse dataand have sufficient skills to be able to draw comparisons to inform recruitment andmarketing strategies.
  • Excellent communicator – including written skills, networking skills, confident publicspeaking with excellent presentation skills; you will be outgoing and experienced inengaging with a variety of audiences – at all levels, of clearly setting and managingexpectations and be able to handle sensitive information in a diplomatic manner.
  • Demonstrable empathy with studentsI.
  • Excellent and proven customer care skills and the ability to work effectively in differentcultural environments.
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritise a varied workload and maintain a highstandard of performance.
  • Good understanding of the use of IT in an administrative setting, including experienceof using database systems and word processing skills.
  • The flexibility to work overseas, work some weekends and public holidays. Willingnessto take long haul flights and use standard accommodation. The flexibility to work acrossa variety of functions where required.

  • Experience of digital marketing techniques and remote servicing of international markets

HOURS OF WORK
Your normal hours of work shall be from Monday to Friday (inclusive) or such other hour as shall be the Company’s normal working hours together with such additional hours outside these hours at weekends or during holidays, as are necessary for the proper performance of your duties.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Grade and Salary: The full time salary range is £32,021 to £37,326 per annum, inclusive of£4,510 London Weighting per annum.

Hours of Work and Working Pattern: The basic working week will be 35 hours, worked from Monday to Friday; 9.00am to 5.00pm, with a one hour unpaid lunch break each day. Annual Leave Entitlement:

Annual Leave commences at 26.5 working days per annum plus public and bank holidays and days when the organisation is closed. Our annual leave yearruns from August to July. The entitlement is pro rata in the holiday year of commencement of employment.

Probation: The successful candidate will serve a 20 weeks probationary period and an interim report will be made at the end of 12 week’s service.

Medical Screening: The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical screening questionnaire, and may be required to undergo a medical examination prior to a written offer of employment being made.
