Entry requirements of this job:

Entrants have completed a foundation course, a BTEC/SQA award, a degree and/or postgraduate qualification. NVQs/SVQs in Design (in various disciplines) are available at Levels 2 and 3. Portfolio work is also important for entry.

Summary : 

Graphic designers use illustrative, sound, visual and multimedia techniques to convey a message for information, entertainment, advertising, promotion or publicity purposes, and create special visual effects and animations for computer games, film, interactive and other media.

Key Responsibilities For The Graphic Designer :

Manage and deliver graphic design and branding • The post holder will be responsible for creating and executing visually appealing and engaging design content that aligns with our client's brand and communications objectives. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and quality across all design • Responsible for the integrity of the brand, while ensuring the user needs and service goals translate into holistic, user-friendly designs. • Support other designers in their area by increasing cohesion and connectedness.

Key Accountabilities For The Graphic Designer :

Create and oversee the development of graphic design concepts that align with our clients brand and marketing goals. • Manage and maintain the company's graphic design assets, ensuring brand consistency and quality as the in-house expert using design, including but not limited to, Adobe InDesign, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Powerpoint, and Final Cut Pro. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Communications, Product, Digital, Events and Engagement to ensure design and video assets are aligned with overall company objectives.
