The successful candidate will be responsible for: Building and launching websites based on original artwork by the design team or independently Writing clean and well-structured code Talking to users and managing support requests Maintaining new and existing websites Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and excellent standard The successful candidate will be: Able to work on complex projects Highly motivated with the ability to pick up new skills quickly Confident and dynamic A team player Willing to undertake any training required to fulfil this role.

Rate:£11.55 - £20/hour(Depending on experience)

Entry requirements of this job:

Entrants will possess a degree or equivalent qualification, although entry with other academic qualifications and/or significant relevant experience is possible.Relevant vocational, professional and postgraduate qualifications are acceptable. 1-year Diploma/Certificate (preferred) Experience: 1 year of web designing (required)

Summary:

Applicant in this unit group design, develop and maintain websites to meet a clients specified requirements.

Tasks required by this job include:

• liaises with internal/external client in order to define the requirements for the website;
• presents design options to the client;
• designs web pages including graphics, animation and functionality to maximise visual effectiveness and facilitate appropriate access;
• develops the website and applications;
• designs and develops web interfaces for relational database systems;
• establishes methods to ensure appropriate website security and recovery;
• writes and publishes content for the website;
• tests website interaction and performance prior to going live, and monitors and maintains functionality of the website;
• activates the live website.
